A Gift Certificate from the Inn at Tanglewood Hall makes a wonderful holiday, wedding, anniversary, or birthday present. Gift certificates are also a great way to express your gratitude towards that special employee. You can be assured that you are giving a gift of warmth and generous hospitality from one of York Harbor's most prestigious Bed and Breakfasts. • Children over twelve are preferred. Please call us for exceptions. We offer a quiet peaceful retreat for all of our guests. There are many fragile collections and antiques throughout the inn and we have been honored to host many wonderful kids here. However, we do ask all parents to thoughtfully evaluate their children's personal supervisionary needs before considering this inn. We do have deluxe queen and twin Aerobeds available for family needs.

• Registered Guests Only: Due to the intimacy of the inn, the rooms in our home are intended for registered guests only.
  
  
• Smoking: All rooms are non -smoking in ordinance with Maine State law. Smoking permitted only in outside areas 25 feet from any building per Maine State law, a $200 charge will be charged to your card on file for smoking in our rooms or on porches.
  
  
• Two-night minimum stay on Saturdays generally from May 15th through Veteran's Day, please contact us for exceptions.
  
  
• Reservations: We require a one night's stay or 50% deposit (whichever is larger) for each room to be processed at the time of your reservation. This deposit shall apply to your last night(s) stay. Gift Certificates may not be used as deposits. The balance is due upon your arrival at Check-in. Group reservations of three rooms or more require the balance to be paid in full within 14 days of the reservation.
  
  
• Payment: We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Cash. Prices are subject to Maine Lodging Tax of 7%. Gift Certificates are also available for lodging redemptions only, unless otherwise specified previously. We do not accept Bed and Breakfast.com Gift Cards or Certificates.
  
  
• Check-in: Between 3:00PM and 6:00PM only, unless special arrangements have been confirmed with advance notice.
  
  
• Check-out: Anytime before 11AM.
  
  
• Cancellations: We are just a small B&B, so cancellations affect us dramatically, but we will make every effort to provide a fair solution. Unlike most Bed and Breakfasts, if circumstances for a cancellation are deemed warranted, a courtesy Gift Certificate may be issued for a future stay at the Innkeeper's discretion depending upon seasonal availability. Otherwise: Notice given 14 days (or more) prior to a room reservation will receive a full refund less a $25.00 credit card handling fee. Cancellations within the 14-day period will incur a loss of deposit. Last minute cancellations (within 5 days of the reservation) will result in a charge for the entire reserved stay unless we are able to rerent the room. We will try our very best to do so and will prorate refunds accordingly or issue a courtesy voucher. Regretfully, we can not grant refunds for early departures, late arrivals, or inclement weather unless the Inn is closed due to extreme circumstances.
  
  
• Rates: All rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are only guaranteed for deposited reservations.
