This was our second stay at Tanglewood. We enjoy the Inn, the history, the architecture, and ambiance—it draws us back. Well, here we are again at the Inn at Tanglewood Hall. This Victorian B&B is just beautiful—I love the woods and the ocean…well it just makes me want to jump right in and turn into a mermaid! My daughter Rebecca and I shopped along the way and found awesome little treasures in the shops of Kennebunkport—we had a late lunch at Pier 77—oh what fabulous food we had! … Andy fixed a fantastic breakfast for us in the morning—I practically inhaled the parfait. Maine has been an unforgettable experience—loved it! Thank you for the maps & directions.

This place is fascinating! We love the feel of history about it, and every time we return or go, I see something here I didn’t notice before. I love all the details of decorating & the little lights all over the place, all the fireplaces, interesting shapes of rooms, etc. Thank you for having the piano tuned & worked on for me. No B&B hosts have ever gone out of their way so much for me before & we’ve stayed at quite a few. Your enthusiastic tips of places to go were greatly appreciated, as well as the wonderful breakfasts. Thank you for a wonderful if too short a stay. You have a lovely home here at Tanglewood. The way you have furnished and decorated the rooms is great. The Cliff Walk to York Harbor Beach was breath-taking in so many ways. Dockside Restaurant (another one of your recommendations) was divine …our ice cream at Brown’s was the perfect ending for a perfect day… The York Harbor Suite has so many interesting antiques and trinkets that must be appreciated! The Cliff Walk was beautiful & so was the Wiggly Bridge—I was able to find sea glass there for my collection. We really felt comfortable here. The Cliff Walk is great! Less people than the Marginal Way walk. We also went to Perkins Cove and took a 2 hour sail on a restored 1939 schooner sail boat. Fantastic. Have fun—there’s lots to do.

Maine is my favorite place on earth. The room was everything I wanted it to be and more. Being in an Inn, someone’s home, is so special and relaxing. My family and I spent the weekend in the relaxing Cottage Suite. We loved the mural on the wall and the comfortable beds. My mother loved the gardens, my dad enjoyed the front porch, my brother the pretty room, and my other brother enjoyed everything including the food. My favorite thing about the stay was the beautiful yard. It was extremely relaxing and we are glad that we had such incredible hosts this weekend.
