A York Maine Bed and Breakfast

Conveniently Located Just an Hour from Boston

Our York Maine Bed and Breakfast Inn is surrounded by ocean air, serene woodlands, and natural gardens, in the seaport village of York Harbor Maine, nearby Portsmouth, Kittery, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. Once a York Historical Society decorator show house, the Inn is now a York Harbor B&B nestled 500 yards from ocean, with all of today’s necessities and amenities. Unwind and untangle in timeless charm and comfort in our relaxing getaway escape amidst our natural woodland gardens and fountains.

Enjoy sunsets and bold ocean views along the York Harbor Cliff Walk path, then traverse the scenic York Fisherman’s Walk to the Wiggly Bridge. Stroll along quiet tree-lined streets to York Harbor Beach or enjoy the sun and surf at Long Sands or Short Sands Beach with picturesque Nubble Lighthouse nearby. Rest on our veranda in a porch rocker among twinkly fairy lights after a lobster dinner, cuddle up in the hammock built for two, or next to a crackling fireplace. Slip into silky sheets beneath fluffy cozy blankets in your guest room, then indulge in a scrumptious breakfast in the peaceful tranquility of our York Beach Maine bed and breakfast.

A Romantic Southern Maine Getaway

VISITING NEW ENGLAND: “The Inn at Tanglewood Hall offers a symphony of lodging charm and amenities and proudly meets the lodging hall of fame criteria … It’s hard to top a New England bed and breakfast lodging experience when it’s an immaculately-maintained 1880s Maine seacoast cottage located within walking distance of the rocky Maine Atlantic coast, its comfortable and unique accommodations, congenial hosts and perfectly-located York Harbor Maine presence (where the proof is in the pudding that you don’t have to travel far up the Maine coast to get a classic Maine seaside experience) make it a top of the line choice when considering a Southern Maine getaway…

With the ocean so close and the classic Maine villages, beaches, rocky coastline, seafood restaurants, and Nubble Lighthouse that have made the York area so famous, the Inn not only serves as a fine bed and breakfast, but is ideally situated as a launching pad to see this great area … Perfect for parents looking for a weekend away, honeymooners, or anyone looking for the ultimate Maine bed and breakfast experience by the majestic sea.”
